Fmr FBI Special Agent discusses Josh
Jodene Weber, a former FBI Special Agent, also just dropped a brief but meaty look at the Joshua Guimond case. She is on patreon and her podcast is called Caught in My Web. It's about 30 mins long and I could only find a free link to iheart radio.. She didn't examine some of the evidence as critically as I'd hoped, especially the digital angles, but she does draw some conclusions I haven't seen/heard elsewhere, so I am curious what others think who've been following longer.

Yeah, while it's always good to get the case out there for people to hear but she definitely had a few facts wrong. She said Josh and Katie broke up a month before his disappearance and it was actually several months. She said he had 7-12 beers while at the party. He was only there less than an hour so we know that isn't true. I believe authorities said they estimated this total was over the course of the evening. She also said Erika Dahlquist was kidnapped from Minneapolis, but it was actually Brainerd (which is a fair distance north of Minneapolis). And this is a common mistake made by podcasters and the like, that Josh missed a mock trial on that Sunday. He just missed a financial/budget meeting regarding the mock trial team. She also says that Josh was catfishing men on the internet. This is a little slippery as I don't believe anyone can definitively say that is a fact. And for her to say either Nick or Katie is "lying" about the timeline after he left her campus apartment is kind of dramatic. I believe their timelines are a little different but I don't know if we can jump to conclusions that one of them is lying. And then to speculate if Nick went to the abbey in that time is a bit ridiculous to me. You're just feeding into the Unsolved Mysteries hype about Nick. Let's hope we get some real news on the case soon. Happy holidays, everyone
